Special Council Meeting

THAT the draft agenda presented to Council for the Special Meeting and dated the 22nd of September be hereby adopted as circulated. Vote Type: Majority (Voted)

THAT Council for the Municipality of East Ferris acknowledges the presentation made by Mr. Jason Bionda of Spectrum Telecom Group Ltd. regarding its intentions to build a Fiber to the Home (FTTH) project in East Ferris specifically from Big Moose Road down Ouellette Road to Quae Quae Road; AND FURTHER that Council authorizes Spectrum Telecom Group to install poles and bury fiber cable on municipal property along the municipal road network indicated in its presentation. Vote Type: Majority (Voted)

THAT this meeting proceeds to In-Camera session at 4:25 p.m., under Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 in order to address a matter pertaining to: Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board; and Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose. Vote Type: Majority (Voted)
