Special Council Meeting

THAT the draft agenda presented to Council for the Special Meeting and dated the 29th of August be hereby adopted as circulated.

THAT Council for the Municipality of East Ferris accepts the recommendation from the Municipal Engineer contained in Report No. R-2019-13 and that the request for quote for Asphalt Paving in the amount of $247,428.16 including HST be awarded to Miller Paving North Bay.

THAT Council for the Municipality of East Ferris authorizes staff, with assistance from Donna Maitland and/or Karen Jones Consulting, to prepare funding applications for submission to the Ministry of Infrastructure for the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program - Community, Culture and Recreation Funding Stream.

THAT Council for the Municipality of East Ferris authorizes staff to submit funding applications for submission to the Ministry of Infrastructure for the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program - Community, Culture and Recreation Funding Stream.

THAT Council for the Municipality of East Ferris authorizes staff to engage the services of Donna Maitland, as they see fit, to assist with the preparation of funding applications for submission to any eligible funding programs for our New Municipal Office and Fire Hall.

THAT Council for the Municipality of East Ferris authorizes staff, with assistance from Karen Jones Consulting, to prepare a funding application for submission to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for the Rural Economic Development Program.

THAT Council for the Municipality of East Ferris authorizes staff to submit a funding application for submissions to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for the Rural Economic Development Program.
