Council Meeting

THAT the draft agenda circulated to Council and dated the 26th of March, 2019 be hereby adopted as circulated.

THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council of March 12th, 2019 and the Minutes of the Special Meeting of Council of March 21st, 2019 be adopted as circulated.

THAT By-law No. 2019-13 being a By-law to amend By-law No. 2019-03, a By-law to govern the proceeding of the Council, Local Boards and Committees of either, the conduct of its members, the calling of the meetings and to establish Rules of Order be read a first and second time this 26th day of March, 2019.

THAT Council acknowledge the correspondence as circulated with the Agenda and dated the 26th of March, 2019.

THAT Council appoint Mayor Rochefort and Councillor Kelly to be the liaison person(s) to the residents of the Municipality of East Ferris who resides in the area of the Algonquin Land Claim.

THAT Council authorize staff to apply for funding under the "Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) for the Reconstruction of Lake Nosbonsing Road.

THAT Council supports the Country Ribfest de Campagne event and agrees to the sponsorship request of $3,000.00 and the waiving of building permit fees. The request for waiving of facility rental fees to be

THAT Council approve the general accounts for the Municipality of East Ferris as indicated in the cheque register(s) dated March 26th, 2019 in the amount of $265,539.51.

THAT this meeting proceeds to In-Camera at 7:32 p.m. in order to address matters pertaining to: Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals affecting the municipality or local board.

THAT we do now adjourn this In-camera meeting at 7:52 p.m. and return to our regular session of Council.

WHEREAS Council for the Municipality of East Ferris deems it expedient to pass three readings of the following by-law at this session; BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council from March 12th, 2019 to March 26th, 2019, BE READ A first, second and third time, passed and numbered 2019-12; AND THAT said by-law be signed by the Mayor and Clerk and sealed with the Seal of the Corporation.

THAT we do now adjourn at 8:05 p.m. and meet again on April 9th, 2019.
